Gopak sprang from an increasing demand from customers of Stafa Holland BV to provide customer-specific fasteners and fixers. This meant repackaging bulk packs into smaller packs, in customer-specified or standard quantities determined by the market. This trend continues as a result of an increase in demand from the market. The customised packaging was extended with private labelling and the use of customer boxes, etc.

Towards the end of 1996, Gopak moved into its own premises on the Rondven industrial estate in Maarheeze. Gopak still packs for customers of its sister company Stafa Holland, but predominantly for its own customers. Through the years, Gopak has emerged as a professional packer with a wide range of services. This has allowed Gopak to build up a customer base within a relatively short period of time, with leading companies in a variety of sectors.

Gopak currently has a workforce of about 30 people. The current growth in capacity and opportunities are due to a large extent to investments in automating the packaging process. Gopak currently has the most modern machinery in the Netherlands for packaging fasteners, fixers and hardware. Happily, more and more companies are discovering the benefits of our services, enabling us to grow apace.
